Getting started
First setup
Log in at web.ifapp.eu with the user you received from IFAPP. Setup typically takes an hour for a company with 10–20 vehicles.
1. Company and users
- Open Companies and check that your company exists with the correct name.
- Open Users → Add user. Create one user per person who needs to see the system (owner, site manager, office).
- Choose the role and permissions: what each user may view and change (objects, geofences, users, statistics, reports).
2. Workers
- Users → Add user → role Employee.
- Choose the BLE tag the worker has been given. The tag is now linked to that person.
- Turn on Driver if the worker drives a company vehicle. The person is then shown as the driver when the tag is seen in the vehicle.
Workers do not need a login. Create logins only for people who need to see timesheets or the map.
3. Vehicles
- Vehicles → Add vehicle.
- Fill in name, brand, licence plate and the service interval in km.
- Choose the GPS tracker (IMEI) installed in the vehicle.
4. Tools
- Tools → Add tools.
- Fill in name, brand, purchase date, warranty and inspection interval in days.
- Choose the connection type (Bluetooth tag or GPS tracker) and the actual tag.
- Set the responsible person and which vehicle or site the tool belongs to.
5. Sites and geofences
- Geofences → Create geofence.
- Draw a circle, a polygon or a route – or import a KML file.
- Link a tracker to the geofence if a tracker is installed on the site. Otherwise the geofence is "map only".
6. Check that it works
Open the map. When a vehicle drives and a worker is on site, you should see the vehicle move and the worker inside the zone within a couple of minutes.
