Tools and alerts
The tool card
Photo, category, subcategory and type, purchase date, warranty, repair interval, responsible manager, connection (Bluetooth tag or GPS tracker) and the vehicle or site the tool belongs to. Comments and the repair history are kept on the card.
Status
Every tool has a status: active, inactive, lost or in repair. Filter the list by status to see what is missing or in the workshop.
Where is the tool?
IFAPP shows which vehicle or site the tool is at and where it was last detected. Bluetooth tags have no GPS of their own, so the position is the tracker's position.
Presence check at set times
At the times you choose – for example morning and evening – IFAPP checks that every tool is with the vehicle or site it belongs to (its parent object). Anything missing is shown in the list, and the responsible person gets a notification.
Left-behind alert
If a tool stays on a site with a tracker while the van drives away, you are notified. The driver can turn around before it is too late.
Who had it last?
When the tool's tag and a worker's tag are seen by the same tracker, IFAPP records who had the tool and when.
In case of theft
Open the tool and see the last known place and time. Use the information when reporting to the police and your insurer.
